Wonderfully nostalgically furnished little café in the heart of Recklinghausen. Here you can get delicious cakes from the tin, tempting cakes, waffles, small hearty dishes and everything a coffee & cocoa drinker's heart desires. Delicious lemonades, beers and Coca-Cola complete the offer. Everything at reasonable prices.

This little café is really a dream. Obviously from a former pub the owner has created a sweet oasis in downtown Recklinghausen, which invites you to dream and linger. That's what you want in your hometown.

Very cozy - nice service - but the breakfast wasn't really a hit for 8 euros, there were only baked rolls and a small slice of bread - the next time I'm going to Arens in Haltern.

Unfortunately, I was unable to try and rate the gluten-free cake because it was no longer available at half past two, at the best coffee time. If I advertise gluten-free products nationwide, then these products should also be available.

After we had clearly pointed out, we had previously reserved and not secretly creeped in, we were then also paid attention. It was Sunday, there was only breakfast buffet. It was okay, but not more. Will probably not return there.

Sweet little cafe as you know it from old times definitely worth a visit I was there with my girlfriend breakfast and we are completely delighted not only that it is made with love but the boiled egg freshly cooked and still slightly soft inside Coffee tasted great and the rolls are warm. We had a surprise breakfast for 2 people and could have eaten 3 of them Always happy and worth a visit

Here for the first time today, and many more times will follow. Wonderful cafe, with great decor and lovely design. The food was delicious, and the lady of the house with heart. Anyone who loves cocoa will find it here, directly in several varieties, just like tea or coffee drinkers.

Nice cafe in the 1920s style, very pleasant atmosphere, cocoa and cake made by yourself and very delicious, highly recommended.
